Do you like to draw or write? Do you want to see your work published? Do you want to make a difference in the global community? Submit your work to JJ Express Magazine! We are an award-winning children's magazine that uses comics to teach kids about social issues. Artists and writers are encouraged to study recent issues for content and style. (Sample issues are available for $4.00 plus $1.50 shipping and handling). We accept work from artists and writers of all ages and backgrounds.
Submission Guidelines
Pitch your ideas by sending an email to art@jjexpressmagazine.org with the following:
- Title
- Cast of characters (sketches and description)
- Number of pages
- 1-4 pages for most comics
- 6-8 pages for feature comics (max. 2 per issue)
- Brief story/plotline

Please include an SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope) if you would like your work back. You can also submit through email.
Comics should be no more than 4 pages.
If you send us 3 samples of your artwork, we will keep you on file for possible future projects.
You can also send us your comic ideas or storyboards.
